AK ABA Services offers comprehensive Applied Behavior Analysis therapy for children across all developmental levels, from early intervention to intensive day programs, individual therapy, and social skills groups.
Every program is individualized, BCBA-supervised, and grounded in data-driven strategies that build skills where they matter most: communication, emotional regulation, social interaction, and real-world independence.
We take a whole-child, whole-family approach. Parents receive hands-on training and coaching alongside their children, because growth that happens in session should carry over everywhere else.

AK ABA Services is the sister company to MICAA Kindergarten Prep and Tutoring Center, where Alissa and her team also provide academic tutoring, kindergarten prep, and educational support services. Together, both centers offer a continuum of care that bridges behavioral and academic growth under one trusted network.
Alissa Katada holds a Master's degree in Education from Chaminade University and a degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from the Florida Institute of Technology. She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) in the State of Hawaiʻi, and a dual-certified Special and General Education Teacher with over 20 years of experience.
As a behavior specialist and the founder of AK ABA services, Alissa provides individualized behavioral intervention, parent training, and evidence-based support services for children across a wide range of learning needs. Her practice is grounded in data-driven decision-making, ethical care, and close collaboration with families and schools to help every child reach their fullest potential.
